Malloy produced a solo album, BEST OF FRIENDS, including commissioned works and works never before published. The album will be released by Navona Records in September 2022. Previous works released by Navona Records include his March 2012 solo album PAPER CLIPS, recorded in Boston and distributed by Naxos. This album is a two CD set consisting entirely of solo works for trombone that he commissioned. He co-produced two successful Christmas albums, CAROLS FROM THE BELLS, which feature 16 top Los Angeles trombonists performing arrangements of Christmas carols.
